Forever Ago is out on Steam

Is it out?

Forever Ago released on Steam on October 8, 2026 and is no longer marked coming soon.

The app details saved on October 9, 2026 for AppID 1215940 set coming soon to false and the date to Oct 8, 2026. Steam news the day before, in UTC, is titled “Forever Ago is Out Now!” Third Shift wrote that Alfred’s journey launches with a limited-time discount. Older pages that still say “upcoming” were written before that date.

What you do

You play Alfred on a single-player road trip, taking photos, talking to people, and revisiting memories with Audrey.

Steam calls it an adventure about broken dreams, loss, regret, courage, hope, and friendship. The store genres are Adventure and Indie. Categories include single-player, achievements, full controller support, and Steam Cloud. They do not include multiplayer or a code redemption feature.

Steam price observed October 9, 2026

On October 9, 2026 the Steam app details listed a $19.99 base price discounted 10% to $17.99.

That is 1999 cents down to 1799 cents USD in the saved payload. The launch post called the discount limited time, so the live store page wins if those numbers have changed. Windows is the only game platform flagged. The soundtrack is a separate music app.
